Today it was 60 degrees in Chicago. WOW!! If you've ever lived in the area...it's almost shorts and flip-flop weather! It was absolutely gorgeous today and we threw the kids out in the yard! (Did I saw threw? I meant encouraged!) We were super excited to have the sun warming our skin and riding in the car with the sun-roof open. We played soccer until it was dark...although, we could have stayed out there longer. The kids played with our neighbor's, the Prather's. They have such a good time together and there were lots of laughs! Balls were flying everywhere, nearly missing heads, kids sliding in the mud, Jordan doing his Michael Jackson moves (hysteria!) and kids chasing mom around, stuffing socks in her mouth just to be chased by her. What a great way to end the day and begin some spring fun. (Poor Dylan had to be a big dog and sit on the porch. He had to be picked up from school due to having a high fever. He's not feeling very well but we let him enjoy the weather a bit too.) Come on Spring!!!!
